Dolphin: Level 3 (3-5 year olds) - Ready to Learn the Basic Skills

Times this class will meet once a week:

Tuesday 4:50pm, 6:35pm

Thursday 4:50pm, 6:35pm

Saturday 9:20am, 11:05am

Review Floating & Kicking
  • I can float on my stomach & kick my feet in streamline position:  ____ yards and still need practice   __ 5 yards or more!
  • I can do the back float while kicking my feet in the streamline position:  ____ yards and still need practice   __ 5 yards or more!

 

Getting ready for Arm Strokes

  • I can flutter kick on my stomach: __ with a kickboard keeping my toes pointed on top of the water __ without a kickboard in streamline position, pointed toes on top of the water, using body rotation
  • I am starting to use alternate breathing pattern: __ lifting head – needs practice __ turn head to the side

 

Building into Arm Strokes

  • My arm pull is:  __ alternating while recovering out of water   __ pulling close to center and all the way back
