Are you interested in Scuba Diving? Do you want to try it out and see what is like? Do you need to be certified for a vacation? Well if you answered yes to any of those questions, we have got you covered. With the help of the great folks at Manta Diving we offer two types of classes.
TRY SCUBA is a 2 hour discovery experience that gives you a chance to tryout Scuba for fun, or to see if you want to purse the full certification. Fee is $25.
Open Water Certification involves 5 sessions. Three (3) sessions are classroom sessions held at Manta Dive Shop and two (2) sessions are in-water sessions, held at RecPlex in the Aqua Arena. Upon completion of the class, you will receive full certification. Fee is: $335 for the 1st person & $321 for a second person.
The following forms need to be completed when registering for the TRY Scuba: discovery experience and Open Water Certification class.

If you have ever wondered whether scuba diving is something you would enjoy, but are hesitant to spend the money on a class only to discover you scuba is not for you, TRY Scuba, discovery exerience is for you. TRY Scuba, discovery experience is a one day experience that introduces you to some basic principles of diving, the equipment & “breathing underwater.”
We start off by showing you a short video that explains a few of the most important rules for scuba divers & go over a few of the procedures. Next, we familiarize you with scuba equipment, show how it will be used & pack a scuba set up for you to use in the pool.
At the pool, we show you how to set up your gear & help you use it in the pool. The instructor will teach you a few basic skills you will need to swim & breathe with scuba gear. Once you’ve mastered these techniques, you will simply enjoy the fun of floating weightlessly in the water, play a few games & start thinking about the open water diver class.
Learn to scuba dive and make the most of your next vacation. Diving is easy to do and a wonderful family activity. There are plenty of summer days left for local diving. Now is the time to try something new.
