Teams_____________________________________________________________________________ 

  • Teams consist of four members.  Teammates can be chosen or a team can be selected for you if you do not have one.  Not only are teams competing to have the highest percentage of weight loss, but each individual is also competing for a chance to be the individual “Biggest Loser.” 

 

Weekly Weigh-ins­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­__________________________________________________________________ 

  • Each participant will be required to weigh-in once a week at the RecPlex Fitness Desk.  Weigh-ins are to be completed on Sundays and Mondays; any time during open hours. For missed weigh-ins, your previous week’s weight will roll over into the next week.

  

Team Scoring______________________________________________________________________ 

  • At the end of each week, participants’ weight will be recorded and combined for their team total.  Team % weight loss will then be calculated and posted at the beginning of each week in the fitness center.  Weekly emails will also go out with the upcoming week’s schedule/information, along with weekly results.

 

FREE to Participants!_______________________________________________________________

  • Fitness Assessment:  Each participant will receive a fitness assessment at the beginning and end of the program.  Evaluations will include: BMI %, Waist-to-Hip ratio, Body Circumferences, Body Fat, Back Flexibility, and Cardiovascular Fitness Testing.
  • Log Book:  The log book is designed to encourage participants to keep track of their food intake and workout routines.  The book includes the following information:
  • Food Composition Guide
  • Nutrition Log
  • Heart Rate Zone Training
  • Workout Log
  • Seminars & Trainer-led Workouts:  Each week there will be a seminar AND a trainer-led workout available to participants.  Seminars will be given to help educate participants on making healthy lifestyle decisions.  Trainer-led workouts allow participants to experience a variety of workout techniques.
