Membership FAQ's

Facility Fee: a one-time fee charged to all new RecPlex memberships. However, if a membership expires, and is not renewed within 30 days, this fee again becomes applicable when a member chooses to rejoin.

 

Household Memberships: can only include a maximum of 2 adults (spouses) and dependent family members age 2 to 22 and under living in the same household (19-22 must show proof of full-time college student status).

 

Adult Primary/Individual: any person over the age of 14 purchasing a pass.

 

Adult Secondary: an addition to an Adult Primary, must be spouse of Adult Primary (must reside in same household).

 

Youth Additional/Dependent: an addition to an Adult Primary, 2-22 years old living in the same household (19-22 must show proof of full-time college status). When children turn 2 years old, they must become a pass-card holder in order to receive member benefits.

 

Children Under two: Must be attended to by parent unless using Lil' Tykes.

 

Senior Primary: any person 60+ years old.

 

Senior Secondary: Only available to spouse of Senior Primary

 

Corporate: Will only be offered to approved/licensed businesses, not an individual. Each employee from the organization will enjoy the lowest membership rates available.  A minimum of 10 employees from one organization are required in order to benefit from this offer.  The facility and primary membership rates are reduced.  Individuals holding corporate memberships may upgrade their memberships to include family members at an additional per person charge based on residency. Village Business Rate: anyone working at a company located in the Village of Pleasant Prairie receives the Village Resident membership rate. Proof of employment is required annually. Family members are charged based on residency.

 

30-Day Trial Membership: 30-day trial period. Unlimited facility use; programs available at member rate. Households are limited to one trial membership per year.

 

Membership Upgrade: When an additional person is added to a family membership after the initial registration of the family membership, it is considered an "upgrade" and requires a prorated payment for each additional person. For paid-in-full memberships, the expiration date for all individuals added as upgrades is required to be the same as the initial adult primary member in that household. For memberships on automatic bank draft, members will pay a monthly, prorated amount at the time of the addition and will have their monthly draft amount amended.

 

Membership Registration: Sign up to be a RecPlex member any time we're open! Registration must be done in person, so visit the RecPlex Guest Services Desk to complete the registration process. Be sure to bring either your down payment and a voided check, or your payment in full (see Payment Methods). After completing the registration process, you will be able to take advantage of your new membership immediately!

 

RecPlex usage and minimum age requirements

  • If children are between the ages of 10-13, parents must remain in the facility at all times. Children under 10 years of age must be directly supervised at all times by an adult, 18 years or older.
  • No children under 14 years old are allowed in the 2nd floor Fitness area or on the track. Children over the age of 4 are not allowed in the opposite gender locker room. Please use the family changing area when the opposite gender parent/adult is accompanying children 4 and older.
  • Strollers/infant carriers are allowed throughout the facility except in the Fitness Center and during adult Aquatic Center hours. Parents must be with the infant/toddler 100% of the time.

Membership Payment Methods

  • Pay-in-full using cash, check or credit/debit card. 
  • Monthly bank draft option (based on residency).
  • Bank Draft Payment worksheet is available at the Guest Services Center.
  • Cancellation Form is required to stop automatic withdrawals - some restrictions apply.
