Patriots Hockey School

The Patriots Hockey School is an entry level program for aspiring young hockey players.  Participants will learn the basic fundamentals of hockey which include: passing, stick handling, shooting and most importantly, proper skating.  The primary goal is to develop the necessary skills required to play house league hockey.  The Hockey School typically runs for 7-8 weeks (Tue/Fri/Sun) per session and requires no travelAttendance to all sessions is optional, but the hockey director strongly recommends attending at least two sessions per week.

Patriots Hockey

House league is similar to our school in the fact that players continue to develop and polish the fundamental hockey skills.  However, unlike the school, skaters are placed on age specific teams that compete in the North Shore Hockey League.  The season begins mid-September and concludes late March after the season-end tournament.  Teams practice once per week (20 weeks) and play a 16 game schedule (8 home and 8 away).  A bi-weekly skill/power skating session will be available to all house league participants at no additional cost.    Travel is limited to rinks within an hour of RecPlex (many are closer)Attendance to all team practices and games is expected while the skill sessions remain optional.

Adult Hockey

Ankle Breakers

Ankle Breakers is a beginner adult program open to anyone that has an interest in playing organized hockey...even unorganized for that matter.  Our group currently consists of about 30-40 skaters (roughly 20 show up per week) of fairly diverse skating ability.  The majority of the skaters just recently started playing hockey, but may have had prior skating experience.

Old Geezers

The purpose of the Old Geezers is to provide an enjoyable and safe game of hockey for older players.  Our program will allow you to work on those long forgotten moves that you had in you (or tried to have in you).  Lastly, Old Geezers permits you to wake up the next morning without having to bandage those bruises from the night before.  See the Old Geezers page for additional details.

SNHL (Sunday Night Hockey League)

The Sunday Night Hockey League aims to provide a competitive, enjoyable and safe game of hockey at a consistent time each week throughout the spring and summer.  The program will permit you to relish those Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons with the family (and then sneak out Sunday night to hang with the guys).  Lastly, our unique game format limits the typical aggressiveness and hostility that follow many mens league games (as does our Zero Tolerance Policy).
