When is the waterpark open for Open Swim?
Parent-Tot Open Swim: Mon 10-1130a, Wed 9:30-11:30a, Fri 9:30am-11:30am & Fri 1:00pm-3:00pm.  Open Swim: (No Current Channel) 4:00pm-5:00pm Mon/Wed/Fri.  Open Swim: (Whole Pool & Slides) 5:00pm-8:00pm Mon & Wed, 5:00pm-8:45p Fri, 1:00pm-7:45pm Sat, 1:00pm-5:45pm Sun  

Do adults need to be in the water with kids during open swim?
For Children age 3 & under, supervising adults must be IN THE POOL, and WITHIN ARMS REACH. For Children age 4-6, supervising adults must be IN THE POOL. For Children age 7-9, supervising adults must be attentive and IN THE POOL AREA.

How warm are the pools?
The waterpark pool is kept at 84 degrees, the aqua arena (competition) pool is kept at 79 degrees. Air temp is 86 in the waterpark, 81 in the aqua arena.

How deep is the water in the pools?

The lap lanes in the waterpark pool range from 3.5-4.25’ deep, the lanes in the aqua arena range from 4’ to 12’.   The current channel is 3.5’ deep.

Do I have to be a member to come to the pool/beach?

How many lengths of the pool is a mile?
The waterpark lap lanes are 25yards long, as are the lanes in the aqua arena (except when set up for 50M).  An actual/true mile is 1760 yards or 1609 meters; so 76 lengths of the pool (or 38 “laps” if you are counting down and back as a “lap”) when it is 25Y or “short course”.  When set up as 50M, or “long course”, it is 32 lengths of the pool (or 16 “laps”)

What is the height requirement for the big purple slide?
Riders must be 42”, one rider at a time, NO double riding.

When is the aqua arena set up as 50M?
The aqua arena will be set up as 50M (Olympic length):
April/May: Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays/Monday Morning (converted back to 25Y at 12:30pm Monday) June/July/August: Monday thru Thursday mornings until 12:30pm; Friday/Saturday/Sunday all day

Is there a swim test to be able to use the Wibit (inflatable obstacle course)?
Yes, swimmers are required to swim out to the Wibit unassisted (about 20 yards), lifejackets are not allowed on the Wibit.

When/How do I register for swim lessons?

Winter 1 session: January-February

Winter 2 session: March-mid April

Spring session: Mid April-Mid June

Summer session: Mid June-Beginning of August

Fall 1 session: September-October

Fall 2 session: November-December

How do I know what class to sign my child up for swim lessons? How old is your swimmer?

6 months-2.5yrs: Aqua Squirts (parents in the water)

3yrs without lessons taken before: Minnows (parents out of water)

3yrs-5ys: Dolphins

6yrs & up: Sharks or Jr. Patriot

Can your swimmer float on his/her back and front by themselves on top of the water?

Yes; move to next question                                                                                                 
No; Put in Level 1 or 2

Can your swimmer swim the front crawl and/or back crawl on top of water for 10 yards?

Yes; Jr. Patriot level 5, if more advanced tell them to contact Kristen Benetti                                                                                                                      

No; Put in Level 3 or 4

I missed a swim lesson, can I make it up?
